Piercy becomes the Nationwide Tour's third multiple winner in 2008, joining Titleist brand ambassadors Jarrod Lyle and Colt Knost. A third win for any of the three will result in an instant promotion to the PGA TOUR.
Titleist was the most played golf ball at the Northeast Pennsylvania Classic with 106 players, compared to 23 for the nearest competitor. Titleist was also the top choice in the iron (40), wedge (133) and putter (59) categories. The win is the 19th for Titleist golf ball players on the 2008 Nationwide Tour, compared to one for the nearest competitor.
ASIAN: Australian rookie Rick Kulacz (Pro V1x) holed a stunning bunker shot for birdie on the first playoff hole to win the Brunei Open, defeating four-time Asian Tour winner Lu Wen-teh in an all-Titleist Pro V1x playoff. It was the maiden Asian Tour title for the 23-year-old. Kulacz held the overnight lead by one shot, but was caught by Lu, who fired a final round four-under 67. Kulacz, the 2001 world junior champion, closed with a one-under 70 to force the playoff at 13-under 271.
Titleist was the most played golf ball at the Brunei Open with 105 players (75%), compared to 16 for the nearest competitor. In fact, 14 out of the top 15 finishers relied upon Titleist for their success.
SOUTH AFRICAN: George Coetzee (Pro V1x) Titleist carded a final round 69 to win the Sunshine Tour's season-opening SAA Pro-Am Invitational. It marked the second career victory for Coetzee, who overcame wet and windy conditions to edge two players, including fellow Titleist brand ambassador Doug McGuigan (Pro V1x), by three shots. Coetzee finished at nine-under 207. Titleist was the most played golf ball at the SAA Pro-Am Invitational with 68 players (69%) in the field of 99, compared to 26 for the nearest competitor.
CANADIAN: Rookie Alex Coe (Pro V1) eagled the par-5 16th hole en route to capturing the Jane Rogers Championship by three strokes over Graham DeLaet (Pro V1x). Coe posted a final round two-under 68 to finish at 15-under 265, which included four consecutive rounds in the 60's.

At the World Golf Championships, where the select 41-player field is comprised of
former Presidents Cup players and current Ryder Cup members, Titleist Tiger Woods
demonstrated once again what it takes to be a champion at the highest level of
competitive golf. Talent. Drive. Perseverance. And the right equipment. Titleist.
Trusting the highest performance equipment for his game from tee to green, Tiger
captured his sixth victory of the year and the third in his last five starts,
edging Titleist Professional player Phil Mickelson by one stroke. Mickelson made a
strong final round charge, firing a 5-under par 65 for the best score of the day.
Two weeks ago, Tiger secured his second career major, winning the 81st PGA
Championship by one stroke over fellow Titleist ambassador, Sergio Garcia.
Tiger is committed to being the best player he can be, and that is why he chooses
to play a full bag of the highest performance equipment that best fits his
individual game from tee to green - a Titleist golf ball and Titleist for all 14
clubs. From the Titleist Professional, to Titleist irons, Titleist Titanium 975D
driver, Vokey Design Wedges and a Scotty Cameron by Titleist Pro Platinum putter,
Tiger, just like a growing number of the world's best players, places his
confidence in Titleist for his success.
Like the PGA Championship, where participation of 92 of the world's top 100
players made up the strongest field in golf history, the equipment choices of the
world-class field at the NEC Invitational is another example of the unmatched
momentum of Titleist across every equipment category. Just as more players trusted
their games to Titleist in the golf ball, iron, driver, wedge and putter
categories than any other manufacturer at the recent PGA Championship, Titleist
equipment was once again the choice of more players in each of those categories at
the NEC Invitational.
And the world's best golfers are not only making Titleist their #1 choice in
equipment, they are winning with it. Tiger's victory, combined with this week's
Reno-Tahoe Open winner's reliance on the Titleist Professional golf ball, Titleist
Titanium 975D driver and Titleist  Bulls Eye putter, increases Titleist's
overwhelming PGA Tour-leading win counts in the golf ball (31), iron (11), driver
(18) and putter (18) categories. In addition, Titleist Vokey Design wedges have
become a fixture on the PGA Tour, with a growing list of players joining Tiger in
turning to Titleist for their short game success, including this week's Reno-Tahoe
Open winner.
